House selling, part 84½

We may have finaly sold our flat in London! :-) Unlike all our previous "buyers", this one hasn't withdrawn his offer two days after submitting it so let's see what happens....

Many of our antipodean friends complain (understandably) at the difficulties in getting established in the UK with bank accounts, National Insurance numbers and the like. Follow this subject line/label for my experience in attempting to do the same in Oz...

Proof of address might be problem #1 as we're going to stay with Lucy's parents so won't have utility bills, etc in our name, although I'm sure they'd be only too happy for us to take responsibility for those!! ;-)

Interesting web sites, Part 1

In the first of what could be many posts about web sites I've found, http://smartplaylists.com/ has lots of stuff about smartplaylists, funnily enough.As everyone knows, I love my iPod but as it's too small for all my music, smart playlists in iTunes is the way to rotate music on and off so I'm not listening to the same stuff every day...Maybe I'll post a list of my playlists one day so people can comment & criticise them...
